Assistent toesighouer om 'n Voorman by te staan met werk op 'n konstruksie terrein. Die persoon sal uithelp met toesig soos konstruksiewerk uitgevoer word, papierwerk invul (Permit To Work, Daily Safe Task Instructions etc.), werk opmeet met 'n maatband vir kwotasie en eis doeleindes asook eenvoudige wiskunde doen. Hy sal verder moet hand bysit met materiaal en gereedskap skuif en die maatskappy verteenwoordig in Daily Activity Briefing Sessions.

Hierdie is ideaal vir 'n jong man wat skerp is en graag van konstruksie wil leer.

Hoofpligte:

• Toesighouding

• Eenvoudige oppervlakte / volume somme doen gebaseer op die mates

Werksure en Voorwaardes:

• Normale Werkure: Maandag - Vrydag, 07:00 - 16:00
• Elke Tweede Vrydag: 07:00 - 13:15
• Oortyd is moontlik, maar nie gereeld

Vergoeding en Voordele:

• Maandelikse Vergoeding: R9,000.00
• Oortyd Betaling: 1.5x
• Betaling Frekwensie: Twee-weekliks
• Jaarlikse Verlof: 1 dag vir elke 17 dae gewerk
• Siekverlof: 30 dae in 'n 3-jarige siklus
• Kraamverlof: 4 maande soos per Arbeidswet (Vroulik)

Groeimoontlikheid:
Met voldoende ondervinding kan jy groei na 'n Voorman of Bourekenaar, en verder na Senior Bourekenaar of Projekbestuur.

Opleiding:
Twee dae OH&S opleiding met sertifikate in relevante veiligheidsprosedures. Monitêre waarde van opleiding is ongeveer R5000.

Job Description:

Seeking a motivated Assistant Supervisor to support a Foreman on a dynamic construction site. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the oversight of construction activities, meticulous completion of essential paperwork (Permit To Work, Daily Safe Task Instructions, etc.), accurate measurement of work using a measuring tape for both quotation and claim purposes, and performing basic mathematical calculations. Furthermore, you will be involved in the physical movement of materials and tools and will represent the company during Daily Activity Briefing Sessions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, young individual eager to learn and grow within the construction industry.

Main Duties:

• Providing site supervision support
• Completing and diligently submitting all necessary paperwork
• Conducting precise measurements for completed work and quotations
• Performing fundamental area and volume calculations based on provided measurements
• Representing the company professionally in safety meetings
• Assisting with the movement of construction materials and tools
• Engaging in electronic communication via email and WhatsApp
• Frequent climbing of stairs on-site

Critical Requirements:

• Demonstrated integrity and honesty
• Strong literacy skills
• Diligent work ethic coupled with basic mathematical proficiency
• Excellent communication skills

Beneficial Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• Prior experience or background in construction

Working Hours and Conditions:

• Normal Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
• Every Second Friday: 07:00 - 13:15
• Occasional overtime may be required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Monthly Compensation: R9,000.00
• Overtime Payment: 1.5 times the regular rate
• Payment Frequency: Bi-weekly
• Annual Leave: Accrual of 1 day for every 17 days worked
• Sick Leave: 30 days within a 3-year cycle
• Maternity Leave: 4 months in accordance with the Labour Law (for female employees)

Growth Potential:

With sufficient experience and dedication, opportunities exist for advancement to positions such as Foreman or Quantity Surveyor, and further progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager.

Training:

Comprehensive two-day OH&S training provided, including certifications in relevant safety procedures. The monetary value of this training is approximately R5000.
